The Atascocita Star Parties are a seasonal event that happens at least a few times a year.

This is a community star party that is co-sponsored by the North Houston Astronomy Club (NHAC) and Walmart Neighborhood Market in Atascocita, TX. We hold these star parties twice a year (weather permitting). We have several telescopes set up for viewing and our astronomers are happy to share the wonders of the sky. There is no charge and it is open to the public. We hope to see you there!

For those of you not familiar with Atascocita it is an unincorporated place located in the NE Region of Harris county between Humble city and Lake Houston south of FM 1960.
