President's Letter November 2007 |

From the President
Hello fellow NHACers. Well it is hard for me to believe that we are almost to the end of 2007. What an incredible year it has been. And who could ask for more that the fireworks in November brought to us by Comet 17P/Holmes. Our club is now into the routine of using the Magby Site and the Humble ISD - Administaff Observatory is poised to break ground.
Sadly, it also means that it is the end of my year as your President. This has been a busy and very rewarding year. I would like to thank those members who served as officers in 2007 for their hard work and dedication to the club, and to you the membership. They are they gears that make the NHAC engine run. Thank you all...
Serving in 2007:
At the December meeting we will elect our 2008 officers. We do have some openings left. If you would be willing to serve your club for a year or would like more information on what is involved with these roles, please respond (off NetSlyder) to me and let me know . This club is able to bring you the speakers, education, and observation opportunities thanks to these volunteers. I hope you will join us.
Slate of officers for 2008:
See you at the December meeting.

President, North Houston Astronomy Club
