6:30 p.m. – First up! FYI…
Rick Ray will help us boost our observing skills: Finding Objects by “Star Hopping”
7:30 p.m. – Main presentation
Our January meeting will focus on Planetary Nebulae: What they are, where to look and how to record images. We’ll have an exciting new format this month with local NHAC members Dr. Aaron Clevenson, Dr. Bruce Pollard, and Master imager Robert Brayton coming together to challenge members to view, record, and understand these beautiful astronomical entities. We hope you’ll come out and work on your planetary nebula viewing program for the coming year and we also hope you learn some new techniques during Rob’s discussion on how to best image them.
We look forward to seeing you there!
If you can’t make it out, you can also join us via Zoom:
